Pulled the trigger on Summits but... what finish ?

Very nice indeed Joey, but i am not sure it is an "available" veneer. I cannot find it in the configurator... It looks like a kind of "Bird Eye Dark Cherry" - Or "Rotary Cut Something" if it makes sense .

Thanks for the picture TheWB. I know these ones from the ML website... but unfortunately these are so small... While browsing this forum I found out Mr Discocrap has black/wenge summits. He posted a few pics some time ago. But very small too. It would be so nice if he (or an other lucky owner) could post some more, or if Dr Joey find some in his amazing database.

Actually, if I remember correctly, I believe that was a custom walnut veneer that someone paid extra bucks for. They were putting that pair together when we toured the plant last summer.

Yes, Rich jogged my memory, the Walnut is available. Ask them.... call them... and drool..

I'd go the custom walnut. It looks nicer than the dark cherry I choose for my Summits.
