My worn out sweet spot!

I realized that there is a butt-dent in my sofa's cushions right in the sweet spot. Why do these things happen to me; am i cursed to a life of dented cushions; is there no recourse from this audiophilic faith?

It would be cheaper to move the sofa, so the dent would be in the new sweet spot. Eventually the whole sofa would be dented uniformly.

Do what I do, swap cushions. This is for my TV watching, I use a chair for the stereo.
