I highly urge you to boycott Vinylphilemag.com
To all ML Club members:
I would just like to share this with you for a minute. Fellow member Rich Teer had made a visit down here a few months ago to give my system a listen and mostly ask me for information about starting an audio magazine of his own.
Jean and I took them out to dinner (picked up the check) and spent three hours giving him tips, ideas and a few industry contacts to get his publication off the ground, which was WAY more than I got when I started TONE. Believe me, my old boss Robert Harley at TAS was not thrilled that I was starting up a competitor...
But, I feel that everyone has their own vision and can make it work if they have the drive and a unique vision.
However, that's not the case here....
If you take a peek at www.vinylphilemag.com, you will notice that he's made an exact copy of the TONEAudio website, right down to the color scheme and font choice. We spent a lot of money on that site this year and I am beyond appalled that this person would not only ask me for information repeatedly, but then just outright steal the design of our website.
I know you are all humans with free will and can do as you please, but I highly urge you to not visit this site. I'm still just in shock that someone could be this underhanded.
As always, thank you for your support.
