Does anyone know a good, modern AV receiver, with HDMI connectivity, capable of driving a pair of Sequels reasonably well?

I live in a big city apartment and don't have the room for separates (nor frankly the ability to crank too loud, either).

The latest Denon's would do OK.

There will be a noticable improvement with a better amp, but these will do well at moderate volumes.

Cheers,

I guess I should have framed the question a little less narrowly:

In addition to receivers, I'm also open to a combination AV processor + amp that would go for less than $2K.

I gather the Emotiva stuff seems to have some favorable reviews?

Is there some new technology in the latest ones that make them better at th task than prior ones?
