Hello. I am new to ML and to this forum. I could not find this exact issue discussed in another thread. I have a new-to-me pair of Vantage driven by a Marantz 7012. As I had done with my former speakers I bi-amped them, which sound great, but when the receiver is turned off there is a 60 cycle hum that didn't happen when they were single amped. I know that the ML owners manual advises not bi-amping but other than the hum it seems to work very well. Is there something that I am doing wrong or is there a fix to this? Thanks!

You can not bi-amp the Vantage model. Only one amp should be use. The double binding post on the Vantage are for bi-wired config. Your Vantage has an internal digital power amp of 200 Watts and this is the amp that drives only the woofer. Use only standard hook up.

Read the Vantage operation manual. There, you will find a much better explanation than mine.
