The old rule of thumb is 10 times. You'd have a hard time getting to a 100 times.

So if you have a 10K input impedance, then you want your output device to be a 1K or lower to drive it without having the potential to roll off the high end. To heavy of a load also can raise distortion, specifically the harmonics.

so using a real live example:

The output impedence of a primaluna prologue 3 pre = 2800
The input impedence of my sunfire is 24,000

2800 * 10 is not lower than 24,000 - therefore a bad match....

They suggested an amp with at least 50,000 ohm impedence....
