"Hello." This is my first post because I'm new to the forum ... this site was suggested to me by Martin Logan.
I own a pair of ReQuests. The binding posts {Original speaker terminals} are just simple gold plated speaker posts.
Sometime after 1997(?) the ReQuests were made with a different pair of binding posts; very sexy and seriously better. The pre-cursor to the speaker posts you now associate with Martin Logan speakers.
Question: Did these "upgraded" speaker / binding posts also indicate an up-grade in the cross-over, or any internal parts? ... Somehow I could not get a satisfying answer from Martin Logan. {They did indicate that the company no longer produces parts for the ReQuest speakers.}
... if any knows the background on this, I'd really like to learn more. Certainly, someone out-there has the "real-story" about this? Indeed!
