Question regarding my motion 2's and air conditioning.

I have one of my rear motion 2 speakers mounted about 3 inches away from an air conditioning vent. I have closed the vent but air still escapes and hits the speaker. I'd like to know what you guys think? Is it bad to have cold/hot air blowing on the speaker? I emailed Martin Logan and they said its ok and that the speakers were made to handle adverse weather during shipping. I'm still skeptical...

Its no problem at all.

This would be a big problem for an ES speaker, but a Motion should be fine. Still - I'd try to seal it off if you can. Particularly for the extreme humidity that is released from the register when the system cycles off in cooling mode.
