Ladies and Gentlemen, Monday, 6:30 a.m. here in CA.
For one week I have searched for this area to post a Hello! I know you all found it right away, but I am not very bright. Like the Head Boss Man, I have had M-L 's since the 1980's. It started out with a pair of Sequels, then within three days, I decided they didn't have enough bass. I kept them, but bought a pair of Monoliths III 's. ( it was a bit like one was too cold and one was too hot, etc), The Mono's were too bright on the top half, so I kept them, moved them to another room and bought(ordered) Statements! Then needed amps to power them,so went through a variety of amps until found the right ones. (They were of course TUBES!). And my/our life with M-L 's started and has been going strong for over 20 years.
Now tune in next week for the next exciting chapter of boring excessive buying habits of a retired shrink who just loves great tube music. It started back in the last century, about 1954 and hasn't stopped. But you'll just have to tune in for the rest of the story. Boring to most, but I might have some clues as to using, placing, powering M-L's. Hope you not asleep yet!
Will list bits of equipment at different times, because I never throw any
Audio equipment away, I still have amps and tuners. turntables, and speakers dating back over 50 years. Not boasting! Love vinyl too!
