I am proud to say I am a first time owner of a set of motion 12s.

I am getting all my speakers ready for when I move into my new home I plan on making myself a home theater room. I have never owned any good audio equipment and these sounded great to me.

I plan on doing a 7.1 or 7.2 setup in a 19x15 room in the basement.

I have a question.

For my setup can I go 4 or 6 motion 12s instead of getting the motion 4s and motion fx?

Also what would be better. 2 dynamo 500 or 1 dynamo 700?
I can get both for the same price so I was thinking the 2 500s.

I will be running a motion c center channel.

Thanks for the help.

And proud to be a part of a new group :)

Hola and welcome. All it is a matter of liking. As an example, me, I like a lot the motion 4. These babies are just fine for my HT downstairs. I am using only one sub, so it depends of the type of music or if your system is going to be for movies only. I do like a lot the tweeter built in the motion series. The sound is clear, but not so as an electrostatic speaker. I am very happy with my system, and it challenges other systems costing twice! or more. Try to listen your choice first, and choose the one that you liked most. Use a heavy gauge cable for the speakers to the receiver. Number 12 gauge is OK. Happy listening!
