Is AudioWeb legit?

I have noticed that AudioWeb is a link from this site. I have stumbled accross this site before and have always dismissed it. I believe that if sounds to good to be true it probably is. Pre owned equipment always seems to be 50 to 70% less than Audiogon. Has anybody here ever purchased anything from this site? Why is it a link to this fine, upstanding, full of integrity and all around good people site?:musicnote:

In my opinion I have never considered the sellers on Audioweb to be credible. Most (but not all) of the too good to be true deals are overseas sellers supposedly from Indonesia. I have no trust in that website and therfore don't shop there.

I'm sure Tom has kindly placed those links on this website solely for our convenience and not as an endoresment.

I was on that website for about 3 minutes before I thought "no chance of this being for real."
