The iPhone is certainly interesting, but it might take even Apple a couple product generations to get the kinks out. I'll keep using my trusty Palm Treo for the near term.

Alan,

I agree... and until it can run certain Medicine programs like Epocrates, 5 Minute Clinical Consult, Washington Manual, and Pocket Medicine... I'm out.

Well, I still don't like the all-in-one type devices.

I'd rather have my phone, MP3 player and medical PDA as separate units so in case I break one, I don't have to replace all three at the same time.

Even if the iPhone does run those programs, I still doubt I'd get it. Seriously, I don't want to have anything to do with them once I'm out of school for the day, or off work in the future.

Wait, you want pics of a guy called 'LoganLove' who's very passionate about his new iPhone to show you what he does with it?

Might lend a new twist to the term 'gearPorn' :D

I'm with you on this one Joey! I just received an email from AT&T, with whom I have phone, cell phone and internet service trying to get me to buy one of these babies. "You are now eligible for an upgrade"... Imagine, me who just gave my ipod to my grandaughter because I was having difficulty learning how to use it. Within about an hour she had it loaded and playing downloaded CD's with a grin as wide as Texas! The internet capability is enticing, however.
