I took a major step in building my dream system yesterday. I purchased the main two-channel amp for my system, a McIntosh MC-252 and also bought a pair of Vantages to fulfill my audio lust. I ordered an Outlaw 7500 to drive the rest of the speakers and bought my Blu-Ray player, a Sony BDP-S500. Here's what's going to floor most of you, until Outlaw releases their new processor that is scheduled (I think) for mid-year I am going to use my Denon AVR-2105 to control everything.
I only have the Blu-Ray player right now as the rest of the goodies will be delivered on Friday. I have one of the few HDTV's that uses a conventional tv tube. The picture is absolutely wonderful to behold. What really blew me away and brought a pall over all the fun I was having was the price (notice I did not say cost) of the darn cables!!
Well, I will have things up and running on Friday night so I will be back ...
