Woofer exchange for Ascent

Anyone swapped out the stock Ascent woofers for something other than the 10" aluminum replacement of the "i" series? Just want to see if there were any other manufactured woofers with more bass and slam, that fit with the system and crossover. Or if and when better wooofers were added without to much change to the crossover or there were tweeks that could be added to get that extra slam. Thanks in advance.

I suppose if a woof swap was possible, ML would not have come up with the Vantage. There's a limit to what you can achieve with a given cabinet size. The Ascent is certainly not bass deficient. I owned it and can attest to that. The Summit certainly has better bass, however, as would the Vantage, I imagine.
