Bought a Michell Gyrodec that is about 20 years old. Very close to mint condition. A SME SIIIs came free with it. It is ready for twin arms, but I'm gonna run it with just one. Gonna do some fiddling with the balance though, since the original lead counterweight is not installed (been removed to allow the second arm once upon a time).
A nice upgrade though, and it gets admiring nods from people that aren't audiophiles.

I located the problem som time ago.
It was 1 of the wires to the stator that had torn loose because the panel had slided a bit down.
I still have the late power on problem which I think is a faulty component in the sensing system.
I still need to find some schematics for the Prodigy.

You should contact ML's service dept, and they will send you hardware to prevent the panel from sliding down again. It consists of a metal strip with a hole for each speaker, to be screwed into the bottom - easily available from a hardware store.
