SL3 vs Ascent i

How does one compare SL3 vs Ascent i. Is it worth replacing SL3 with Accent i? Regarding the new series of ML's product line - Summit and Vantage, does one require powerfull amps to drive the low frequency units. Is it that bass reproduction is totally dependent on the built-in amp? In case one does bi-amping, Electrostatic panel and low frequency section can be driven by Tube amplifiers without any strain?!!!
