I own a pair of Quest Z speakers that I originally bought new back in 1993. I had just replaced the electrostatic panels which I ordered from Martin Logan. Big improvement. I now want to tackle the crossover. The original crossover shows "Richey" capacitors which I would like to upgrade. I scanned this forum and found several posts about upgrades, however, for a price. I estimated I need to spend about $1,000 for those upgrades. My question: Isn't there an option out there which most likely will not provide me with all the bang I could get if I shell out $1,000 but will be a nice and audible improvement over my current setup?
I need the following values: 15, 170, 330 and 470uF
