Has anyone ever bought anything from him? Just curious what he is like to deal with. I called and left a message one time and never got a call back. I figured that spoke volumes but probably shouldn't be that judgemental.

I've never delt with him, but I sure have seen a lot of listings by him on both audiogon and ebay. If you haven't done so already, check his feedback on both sites, not that this is much of a guarentee that all transactions go smooth. But it might give you a little more confidence. I beleive he also has an external website.
