Wow, impressive! Never even taken out. The panels and electronics should be like new?

My mains are Prodigies and they sound great. I think this is a great buy as long as its true that they've never been out of the box. New panels alone are about $3000.

Wow, quite the find. The price is decent if really NEW. But around that same amount, one can find newer generation models, like the Summit, and those have better bass integration.

The problem with that is that the Summits would be used, and the panels especially wouldnt sound like new, unless they have been recently replaced.

One third the price: $2000 Prodigy

I'd take the new ones for $6000 all day long, unless the ones you listed have fairly new panels. New panels cost $3000, so you'd probably spend $5000 on that set and they are used.

My question is do panels deteriorate with time regardless of whether they are used or not?
