Guys and Gals:
I am new to the Martin Logan world - I have been a Focal guys for a while. I just recently purchased some equipment from Tweeter since they are liquidating - I only purchased since it was a killer deal!
I purchased the following:
2 In Wall Passage Plates for fronts
2 In Hall Helios 6 Plates for rears
1 Vignette for the center
I am planning on moving my home theater from a small den to the "great" room upstairs (its a little bigger and more open). My questions are the following:
- What kind of sound dampening should I use for the in-wall install? We have dry-wall with insulation everywhere. I was thinking of just getting either some Dynamat Extreme or the Dynmat En-Wall Kit.
- What other consideration should make when installing?
- What kind of paint can I use for the metals grills and endcaps? We use Benny Moore for the walls is there anything comparable in the metal world? Rust-Oleum seems too industrial.
Thanks in advance.
