I recently purchased the Benchmark DAC1 and really love the sound. However, it does not have a 12V trigger to switch on and off, actually it doesn't have a power switch at all. I'd like to be able to switch it on and off along with the receiver. Does anyone know of an external plug that will switch off of a 12V trigger?

Why?

My experience has been that most SS components sound better when left on.

Agreed, I too feel solid-state equipment sounds better when warmed up, and leaving it on means it will be ready to go whenever you are. But this time of year in SoCal it’s murder on the electric bill!

Don't I know it. I make sure I'm seated when I open the electric bill! :(
