If any of you are familiar with these amps I could use your insight.
I currently have ARC Classic 120's amps I am using with an ARC LS-25 pre / CLSIIz.
I thinking about upgrading the 120's from RCA inputs to balanced. Talked with ARC and this is no problem and they will be true balanced.
I also have the ability to change to ARC VT150's that have balanced inputs. They have a different tube combination though Leonard at ARC said they are basicly the same amp with balanced inputs.
The 150's are total tube as opposed to being a hybrid like the 120's? How might the VT150's perform compared to the Classic 120's.
The cost to change to the VT150's will be about the same as having the
120's upgraded.
Can any of you tell me anything about the VT 150's.
