Booked my trip to the Australian audio show (22 October)........I'll be sure to pornograph the event for you all (if I survive the cold and rain in Melbourne).
That'd be fantastic. Looking forward to it!
If only it can come close to your standard. In fact, if only the Audio Show is half of what the London is, it will be good.
My standard? I just talk a load of subjective jibberish interspersed with sometimes incorrect facts - all washed down with media of about the quality an amateur pornographer might take on his first attempt at busting to the glamour/sex industry.
You can't fail!
fair ripper! (hope I got the context right on that )
edit to add: Justin... any possibility that Graz will exhibit?
By "it" do you mean the Apogee or the show?No he's not keen on it, apparently. Word is they will improve it next year - in which case - maybe!
By "it" do you mean the speaker or the show?
That said, I'm sure the next pair of Synergys will probably be a bit better than the last. Apogee is just a very small business these days - a hand made product made by an enthusiast - always looking for ways to do better.
That's what I thought too, but this is Justin we are talking about, so you never knowthat stopped me for a second too Bernard, but it MUST be "show"... there's no other answer.
Adam, my apologies for slamming your thread like this. Like a concussive blast of disregard.
I don't mind my thread being used for whatever you like.
Since the hijackers have already taken control I will jump on. Bernard, this is the vein that I was alluding to when we were discussing cultural aural touchstones. Dynamics, slam seem to be favoured more in the Americas from their hifi gear makers in my opinion.Todd, in a live performance of acoustic instruments (say an orchestra), do you notice "slam"? I know that I do notice it in a recorded performance, but I'm not sure if I've noticed it live.
BTW once again we're hijacking a thread
