I recently went to an Audi Q5 launch and had the privilage of sitting through a B&O lecture mixed with some listening. The listening was guided by instruction on what to listen for. Very nice class.
We were using the Beolab 9's in a very large room with 20+ foot ceilings.
All in all I left with a mediocre impression, but of course I was directly comparing them to my ML's (Ascent i's) which are so painfully calibrated to the much smaller room that I listen to them in. Anyway, very cool experiance and I was just wondering what others opinions of these series of speakers are???
Needless to say, almost everyone in the room were making comments like " Oh my God....Can you believe these speakers...I would kill for those speakers".
I never let anyone there know my dirty little ML secret!!!LOL
