They make some cool looking racks and shelves....and my interest is mostly in these shelves made for Salamander racks...look pretty.

Acryl tends to eventually get scratches with dusting...
They look pretty, but other than for mounting a turntable, I find little value in something like this.
If you have a single component, say a CD/DVD Transport you want to isolate, there are quite a few 'feet' one can insert under them that will do the job just as well.
But frankly, vibration in source components is overated (IMHO) in its impacts to the sound. I mean, have objective measurements and tests ever been done on source components, an amp say, and demondtrated imapact from the nominal vibration a 95 dB SPL playback level might induce?
