how can I check to see if the servo is working in my grotto sub, i use it for LFE and the cone seems to be moving in and out excessively. it sounds a little boomy.

Turn off the sub and start lightly tapping on the woofer; you should hear a hollow thumping sound as your tapping. Now turn on the sub (you should still be tapping) and the woofer should immediately tense up and not produce the tapping sound any more.

Your servo is working.
