Question for the Forum Gods about sub setup?

When setting up my 5.1 with a Yamaha RX-V2700 it asks if you want the sub to be alone or with the fronts and sub together. I have the Clarity’s and a Depth I, so should I just have the sub by itself or both together? Right now it is set up using both fronts and the sub to produce the bass in the setup and sounds good. But, is it wise to do so, or should it be changed so I don’t harm the subs in the Clarity’s? :bowdown:

I would bring the LFE from the Yamaha to the sub and then set the front L and R speaker as large. This will send the full range of frequencies to the front speaker and send the LFE to the sub. You will not harm the drives in your front speakers.
