MLs for Barbados

Does anyone have any experience of setting up in the caribbean? we are about to do so on Barbados and could use any advice going. many thanks (-;

I assume you mean setting up MLs - It's hot and humid and there is a preference for hard floors not carpet, so:

Make sure you have good, silent air conditioning that is capable of controlling humidity well

Try to at least have carpet (say a rug) between your speakers and your listening position - of course, treating the room will be more complex than that, but room acoustics is paramount.
