Hello everyone,
I am writing to you from Belgium. I am using a translator, so please excuse my poor English.
I bought a pair of used Source speakers, thinking I was getting a good deal. However, when I got home, I realized that one of the two Sources was playing at a lower volume than the other. I have read a lot on this forum, and I first cleaned the stators, but the problem persisted. A friend suggested that I swap the stators, but the result was the same. I can conclude that the stators are not the issue. I am convinced that the DC voltage applied to the diaphragm of the speaker playing at lower volume is not high enough.
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE VALUE OF THE DC VOLTAGE APPLIED TO THE DIAPHRAGM OF A SOURCE SPEAKER?
