Looking for floorstanding surrounds - EFX or Motion SLM?

I just moved house, and the layout is such that I cannot hang my old surround speakers or run any wires (without getting into family trouble). As this is only temporary I plan to install the KEF Universal Wireless System (Amazon $499), but I do want to invest in proper speakers, but I find most full range MLs too big.

So I am in between the EFX and Motion SLMs. I prefer the EFX, but due to the layout (all windows), I cannot hang them. Can I use the EFXs as floorstanding speakers (attaching some rubber underneath?) or do I need to fabricate a bigger base to make them stable?

there are two port outlets on the bottom of the EFX cabinet that will need breathing room. you can probably make someting up pretty easily that sould lift them up to a good height but make them movable. make sure your head is in about the middle of the panel when you are done.
