I just bought this Connoisseur BD2a turntable off ebay for $90. It's in near mint condition for the year and is fitted with a Shure M97ED cartridge. There is absolutely no rumble or noise. I reckon it's close to the midpriced Rega turntables for sound quality - maybe a bit better. But that may be my bias showing. These Connoisseurs can be bought for a song at the moment. But I reckon they're a future classic.
