There's apparently a new startup company, GoldenEar Technology, offering mid-priced home theater speakers likewise using folded-horn ribbon tweeters. Sandy Gross (formerly of Polk and Def Tech) along with Jack Shelton (formerly of Paradigm (Shoreview!) are at the helm...

Steve Guttenberg just published a very favorable review...

I wonder how they'll compare to ML's Motion series?

BTW, their website even has a Users Forum!

That's the problem with trying to compete in the home theater market . . . there is a LOT of competition to be had in that segment.

Interestingly . . . here is the first paragraph of Golden Ear's "support" web page:

GoldenEar prides itself in providing exceptional performing, highly dependable products. In the rare event of problems, you can count on our support and service staff to answer your questions and if necessary do whatever is necessary to get your GoldenEar product back up and running good as new quickly and without any hassles for you.

Compare that with Martin Logan's support page, and you get an idea why I am so disappointed in the "new" Martin Logan. Guess I'll be auditioning some Golden Ear speakers soon.

I dont blame you Rich. quality service and support is very2x important to most.
