The binding posts on the Masterpiece Series is how many way??
I've tried bananas, spades, and bare wire over the years and bare wire wins - until now. My amp can accept 8AWG wire through the hole in its 5-way posts, and my Vistas can handle 10AWG if you're careful.
My new 13A speakers have a WBT-0703Cu nextgen post on them and there is no hole. So, I figure it'll handle banana, spade, and bare wire if you're really careful. I hate spades because they are too solid to get a really good bite that won't loosen over time. So it's banana plugs for me that have at least a 4mm hole and solid metal so I can solder the wire to the plug. Yes, I have soldering irons that'll do the job.
So the question remains, how many ways can these new binding posts accept speaker wire terminations?
