Nice work ! You would be amazed at the difference it makes with that fire place covered up. Its a hole of hell for audio. You could make a movable panel like I did. (Mine has not moved in a while)

Unfortunately, the wife has a major issue with me applying an acoustic solution to the fireplace. I'm absolutely certain that you are correct, and it is having a negative impact of the sound and imaging. But what's a guy to do ??

Been in and outta town quite a bit of late. If it wasn't business, it was family. If it wasn't family, it was.... you get the idea. But I never left this site for long, just chose to lurk for a while.

As for that $^&#%*!@ "cat-tree" -- I put it in my listening room because they prefer climbing and sleeping on it over the interface box on my 'Logans. Yes, it is an eyesore and no, it doesn't do a damn thing for the sound.
