I am about to give the thumbs up on a pair of Impression 11A. My salesman is recommending I power them with a Parasound A23+ power amp and a Yamaha RXA 1080 receiver. Any thoughts?

Great speakers! I'll let others speak to the amp and receiver as I'm not familiar. I use tubes.

This is a more balanced system. May outperform the following:
Price of ML Impression. On sale $8000. Parasound A23 plus price $1500.
Yamaha Rx A1080 price $1200. Total $ 10700.
