ML Vanquish Speakers

Any feedback on the Vanquish speakers? I was thinking of using them for surround speakers to go from 5.1 to 7.1 (currently have the scripts in the back for the 5.1 set up, with Summit X and Stage in the front with a JL Audio F113 sub). Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

They seem inordinately expensive for in-wall/in-ceiling speakers, although I am sure they sound superb. For just a little more money, you could get a pair of EFX speakers, which have the full electrostatic panel. I imagine for surround purposes, something like the Electromotion R (architectural series) would sound just as good for less than half the money.

Thanks. I was hoping someone here had actually heard them.... You are right, they are expensive and I was wondering how they sound. Can't do the EFX and I only have room for in ceiling speakers with the Scripts already in the back filling out the 5.1 set up.
