Hello there,

Greetings to the forum. I am in a process of buying some decent Floor standing speakers. I have had a demo on ML's clarity few years ago and also the ribbon technology's Sunfire system. Recently I have heard of Purity which are Active and therefore saves some $$ to upgrade my amp. However I have recently been advised to also demo Quad's ESL.

Has anyone had any experience with Quad and ML's ESL and is their any criticism or positives about them?

Unfortunately I have not heard both, so can not give you any useful info.

Just wanted to say hi. The group here is very friendly and helpful.

I imagine that a few have heard this comparison, but have not seen your post yet.
