I have a stand alone dvd burner and many Mini DV home videos of my kids and family etc. The tapes are not all in cronological order so I need to record the "scenes" out of order making several chapters on the final DVD. However, when I finished my first DVD, which took a good 3 hours because I had to watch every second to know when to stop it, any DVD player will play the first chapter and stop. I can skip to other chapters but it will only play the one chapter I choose and stop. It won't continuously play.

The first DVD took about 15% of all my footage so I have many hours ahead of me.

I am using DVD +R having been told that is most likely to work.

Any help would be wonderful. Yeah I know I should be using a computer burner but I don't have one. Behind the times.

Take it to Walgreens...

They do a great job, handle all formats and are cheap!

Easy and no hassle.

Just a thought.
