I too thought about a Sub to complement my Ethos but as roberto said - the Ethos has a deep extended bass. But honestly, before I buy a sub, I would get the Montis with ther 10" woofers ;).

I can recommend the musical fidelity m6i - sounds fabulous and isn't as overpriced as others.

Actually everything sounds brilliant as it is. No screwed up right channel and no problem with the rear-wall. - I know the positioning looks very odd on picture 2 but it works. I was just worrying if it could get even "better" - so I will give that flip option a try today evening and let you know.

I guess that would be perfect, however my girlfriend would quit our relationship for that move... Although the speaker-placement looks a bit odd, it doesn't actually alter the speaker-balance. When I move the speakers closer to the rear wall it gets obvious, but at about 1.5m away from the wall...

I got a Musical Fidelity M6i and my Ethos like it as much as I do. Sounds absolutely fabulous.

I had to put my Ethos about 1.2m away from the back wall until they sounded right. Now it feels like I'm within the concert, not just listening. In my case it was simple: the more distance between speakers and walls, the better.
