Yup, I will be heading out in a hour to the annual Frankenmuth Beer Festival. I have been a few times and its a blast. 100 beers at least and they are all for the tasting. I will try them all if possible. Its in a huge tent with stations from each brewer.

Ill report back later with results !

There was one in Chicago 2 weeks ago. $50 admission or $40 online.

Have FUN!!

My brother used to be a paid staff member at the Great American Beer Festival held every year here in Denver. I worked the show for about 5 years myself.

This year will be the 27th consecutive festival. Attendance last year was 46,000 people and there were 2793 beers.

Have fun C.A.P. but be carefull - even 2 ounce pours add up when you're tasting 100+ beers!

I'm probably going to be manning the station on behalf of my local brewery at a beer tasting that is a charity event for cystic fibrosis later this summer. On one hand I will be honored, but OTOH, I want to try the other beers!

well it was fun , I tried several micro brews. I liked some and disliked some. I reallly liked the Haufbra Haas summer ale. After a few of my favorites Sierra Nevada pale Ale, The CLX didn't seem to outrageous! My wife even agreed but she had a mug full of Wheat and this was 7 hrs into the festival!
