When I had Sources they were wired to Marantz RM5003 which has only 45 watts and sounded very good.

Fix it, modify your setup to make it work. It would be great. Even if you need to go to a forward projection drop down screen or high wall mount your tv.

I use the covers that came with my EM/ESLs when I have no plans to listen for a day or two.
