eq,room remember Lexicon offers room eq in the Mc12 v5eq which is excellent it uses 4 mic's to do the processing these are purchased seperately. you can find the mc12 and mikes on the used market at very attractive prices, i feel it is better than the denon or meridan. check around and ask some...

breakin why waste all that good time and music set down and listen to them and enjoy the break in period.

sub if you have a pocessor that has a sub output for left and right i would go with the 2 depths especially for music. if not just use one Descent. happy listening.

center i have had the Sl3's for years and i matched them up with the cinema center and i have been very happy with this setup, my rears are scripts and sides are radio shack Optimus. using two depth subs left and right and a grotto for LFE.

i know this has been discussed before but what is the advantage of Martin logan slanting the Sl3's back compared to the requests that are straight up and down?

wire setup steroman i noticed you wired your summits with one wire in the top row and the other on the lower row is this this what martin logan recommends or is it your idea?

bi/wire i tried the bi-wire scene with my Sl3's and i heard no difference at all, and the amount of trouble i went to to do it was not worth the effort. i am not saying you didn't hear a difference, but i sure didn't.

acoustat i have a friend of mine who is using Acoustat's for his rear surrounds and they sound great, he is using requests for the front and logos for the center, it is a really excellent sounding system he also added subs to the acoustat's.
