Quite pleased with the system, although a decent tonearm is now well overdue.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard Jonathan ! always good to have another anolog guy in the fold.

Nice setup!

I presume the Summits are usually a bit farther back (when the Christmas tree is not there). If so, I'm curious how the angled walls/windows affect your soundstage depth and imaging. I don't believe we have anybody else in the forum with that particular type of room layout. I'm thinking it might actually be beneficial in mimizing interference from direct and reflected sound! However, if you are getting wild reflections, might try putting small Christmas trees behind each speaker, as diffusors! :D

Welcome Jonathan and Merry Christmas. Great system there!

BTW, how do you like your Transparent Power Isolator?

Cheers, Todd

Great looking system. I like your selection of equipment, must sound awesome.

Cheers, Greg

We had planned to pick up some blinds so I hope that will take care of the windows, somewhat. Placing the speakers on the carpet significantly reduced the boominess. Excellent suggestion regarding the Christmas trees!

Thanks you for the comments! I'm pleased with the system, now just need to dial in the MLs. I've been really pleased with all of the Transparent products, including the Isolator, very well, transparent.

:welcome:

BTW- the name has already been taken ;)

I could give some acoustics pointers for your setup when you are ready.
