Hello Neil,

Very nice system!!! Love that Goldmund/SME V combo!!!
The 101E is an intriging pair of speakers, and they are also my wife's favorite. Even though I am happy with the CLS's right now, once in awhile I still think about getting a pair of these.

I also noticed that you have an ExactPower. I've used that for about 3 years until I replaced it with Nordost Thor last year with excellent results.

Hi Joey,

Even though it might not be appropriate to say this here, but let me just say that if I can only keep ONE component in my system, it will be the Hovland. I've toyed with the idea of replacing Linn, the Rowland monoblocks, CLS, but not the Hovland my friend.

To me it has a fantastic blend of musicality and "hi-fi," and a satisfying phono stage as a bonus, and decent gain when pairing with the inefficient CLS.

If you end up getting one please let me know. I have some tricks to tweak the preamp that I thought worked wonders.
