Stevie on the plane

I was on a 8:45 am flight from Atlanta to LAX today and Stevie Wonder happened to be on the plane .

Songs in the Key of Life is one of my all time favorite albums.

It made me smile to see him this morning

SITKOL is one of those "must have" CDs. Just incredible from start to finish.

How did he look?

Tom he looked good , he had a couple of handlers with him and a body guard who was about 6'7" almost as wide as he was tall, he was huge.

I was thinking to myself as I watched him walking on the plane if he would trade his career and talent to be able to see!! made me thankful for the things I sometimes take for granted like sight.

That is really cool. It's refreshing when people that could fly private jets still function in the general public.

Stevie was born in Saginaw Mi. He grew up in Detroit in the neighborhood my wife lived in.
She and here older siblings all talk about young Stevie sitting on the front steps of his house with the same rocking motion you see him making when he sings.
