Hi

need help with correct configuration on my pioneer 1522 receiver
I just have 2 motion 12 in the front, no subwoofer, building the setup slowly
I do not get a good base response
what should the crossover be on receiver ? since I would like all the highs and lows to go to the motion 12, the lowest option I see is 50

also any input on the receiver ? is it a good choice ?

That is strange. If they are cutting it off at 50HZ, what happens to the rest of the spectrum (20 to 49HZ)? I am guessing the sub-50HZ signal is sent out via LFE/subwoofer output. You should make a provision for a sub down the road.

In setup, have you selected the speakers to be large? Have you selected there is no subwoofer? There should be no crossover if things are selected properly.
Hope that helps...
