Hello,
I am using an Onkyo TX805 for a preamp and an Adcom 585 to power my Prodigy's. I have noticed the sound on hi def channels to be more muted that radio, Blu Ray or even other stations. I love concerts on Palladia Channel but find that with the increased dynamic range, that I cant get the Adcom up to full power. In fact, I usually watch at +2 db which is the point the Onkyo wont go any louder. I am using HDMI.
Any ideas on what is happening or what can be done to get more volume on these channels?
