Hello to the group! I've owned some CLS and Script speakers before, but I'm redoing my HT system and need some advice from the experts.
I'm using a Denon AVR-X5200W receiver, which is 175W x 9 channels. I have a pair of ML Theos speakers, SLM XLs for surround, and a Sunfire True Subwoofer EQ12.
I notice that many (possibly most) people use a separate amplifier, either tube or solid state. What advantage will I get from doing so? I've seen a few pictures that look as though some folks use a separate amplifier for each of the front ML speakers. I realize everyone likely has a brand preference, but what is the ideal configuration?
Thanks in advance to all the audiophiles!
