ML Odyssey with and without power on

Hi forum
I'm new into ML speakers and wondering why the Odyssey doesn't seem to sound different with the ac power on and off.

it is because charging the stat panel takes only 2 seconds, and that charge will last sometimes more than 5 minutes. Leave them unplugged of the mains AC and after 10 minutes, the stat panels will be discharged, playing music of course.

If I get it right the panels will not make a sound without power after half an hour then. Thanks for answering.

Well, all depends of the program material...but do not worry...the circuit is active when the LED is on. When there is not LED, the circuit is off. PLay the music today. Tomorrow, just before you are going to turn your system on, all the LED should be off. Also, sometimes a dirty AC Line, could turn the panels on...but do not worry about the electricity bill. The electrostatic panels do not have electricity consumption. They only use the charge (less than 2 Watts of AC drain from the mains AC) and its static. Only voltage, not amperes here. Think of a puddle or a pool. It is full of water, but no water drain.
