Hi folks,

I've been thinking about a total Martin Logan HT. To keep the budget I'm going to get some used things:

Speakers:

ML Summit as front speakers

ML Vistas as surrounds

ML Aeons as rears

Wisdom Audio STS subwoofer

ML Stage Center Channel

Amps:

Mcintosh MC2600

Two Emotivas XPR-1 for sub and central

One Emotiva XPR-5 for rears and laterals

Any sugestion?

Sounds good. I actually went from B&W CM9's to Theos more so for movies than music. The electrostats are just to crisp and detailed.

You should definitely do it. I have all Martin Logan speakers in my setup. Ethos, Stage X, four Motion 15's and two Descent i subwoofers powered by Mcintosh amps. Three MC601 and a MC205, sounds great. I used to have them hooked up with Emotiva amps, XPR-5 and XPR-2. They sounded great also but the Mcintoshs sound better with more crisp, detail and clearer when you go loud but you can't go wrong with Emotiva IMO. Enjoy!!!

I would recommend keeping the front three on the same amplification.
